Travelling helps us to build our memories and we keep on learning even after the trips come to an end. However, there are some journeys that mean more than others. And I have some in my life that have marked me a lot and Japan was one of them.
‘Kiyomizudera’, which translated means “Pure Water Temple”, is a MUST SEE!
But why? Because it is one of the most celebrated, and important temples in Japan. It is in the the Higashiyama District of Kyoto, a great spot to experience the traditional old Kyoto and it is precisely a five minute walk from my Machiya, a traditional Japanese wooden house, which I rented out for the few days I was in the city.
